It's an awesome apartment, but I was accepted to school and HAVE to move. The rent is $625 and includes water/sewer/trash, as well as a new washer and dryer. It's 650 square feet, and feels really open because of the wall pass-through between the living room and kitchen (see floor plan). The back porch looks out to a wooded area, and being on the top (3rd) floor means there's no one above you. Quiet neighbors. Brand new carpets, linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom, and paint everywhere, including a beautiful accent wall. They recently completed an upgrade in the bathroom that includes a HUGE mirror, elegant fixtures and a bell shower curtain, as well as new hanging lights in the dining room area. Seriously, this is the best apartment I've lived in, and I hate to be leaving it. This is a great complex, a gated community with a beautiful pool, workout room, business center and rentable clubhouse. The location is great - close to Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, RTP, etc. Approval of application requires 2 paystubs and a photo id, and that you make 3x the rent monthly. <![CDATA[Our oceanfront condo can be rented in the late Fall/Winter until early Spring for $700 per month, plus a refundable security deposit and electric. Water, garbage and basic cable are included in the rent at no extra charge to you. The condo is right on the beach within easy walking distance (1-2 blocks) to the north-end fishing pier and the beginning of a 1.25 mile open stretch of state beach, i.e. no buildings. It's called "Freeman's" beach. The unit is on the top floor (3rd) and has a southern exposure so that it receives the southerly breezes in summer and is protected in winter. The location looks out directly at the primary surfing area along the beach and the deck, off the living room and bedroom, and offers a great vantage point from which to watch the action and look at the north pier. Late summer evening dinner on the deck is one of the special experiences this unit offers and the view is spectacular. It feels as though you are on a ship, with an expansive view of the beach and ocean. The north end of Carolina Beach has a jetty of rocks along part of the beach which protect it. They is City access to get onto the beach right next to the condo or there are City beach accesses up and down the beach every block which are sandy to the beach. There is a pool for use only by the condo guests across the street. There are also bike racks and grills near the pool for your use. In addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom, there is a futon couch in the living room which can be opened easily by one person and is very comfortable. The condo also has a fully equipped kitchen with blender, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, coffee grinder, new pots and pans, etc. The floors in the bathroom and kitchen have recently been tiled and the bedroom, living room and hall have new berber carpeting.
