I'm the sole tenant of an awesome, very remodeled 2BR 1 BA in Hillsborough on 4 gorgeous acres - ceilings were lofted (gorgeous), rooms expanded, among other things...and in the past month, the carpets and floors have been redone. It's very near I-40 and I-85 crossroads in Hillsborough, making it convenient (within ten minutes) to get to Durham/Duke, Chapel Hill, and 25 minutes to Raleigh. It's a simple house, but very open and pleasing to the senses. It's on 4 acres of land, to boot (a steal for the rent I'm paying)...kinda feels "rural," but gets high speed internet and is minutes from downtown Hillsborough and near I-40. It's got a gorgeous yard with a small running trail into the woods, large garden plot (which you're welcome to help with), and a pet area for visiting pets (no dogs or cats, sadly). It's fenced (mostly for keeping deer and ticks away), with giant cedars and other older trees in the back. There's a hammock and many windchimes, including a 3 footer set. <br> <br> I'd ideally love a younger professional, grad student or undergrad who would love a simple, elegant older house, high convenience to Chapel Hill and Durham, but still removed from the noise and bustle of major city centers. There are two movie theaters; one is "avant garde" or whatever, and the other (Timberlyne) is primarily more popular blockbuster movies. It's straight shot to and from campus (and the heart of Franklin St.) 4.3 miles down the MLK highway (which is big and relatively uncrowded). This highway has has sidewalks (and a bikelane for most parts). The bus stop is a 3 minute walk from your doorstep. <br> <br> I've roomed with both guys and girls in the past.
