<![CDATA[Yesterday, we found a young, shy, mixed-breed female dog wandering around outside our home off of Hillsborough & St. Mary's Streets near downtown Raleigh. She had no tags or collar. She was also very hungry and thirsty, so it is possible that she has been roaming for some time and is not from near where we live. After several hours of trying to coerce her to come closer (and her also not running away), a couple of passersby helped wrangle her into their car. She is currently the SPCA of Wake County. We are not sure if she was microchipped but the SPCA will determine whether or not she has a chip. She appears to be about 1 year old, weighs about 25 pounds, is in excellent health but is not fixed. She has a very sweet, but timid, temperament. My guess is that she is a mostly black lab - [possibly] border collie mix, but I'm no expert. <![CDATA[Please help us find Lois! She got out of our house on Monday, March 1 when one of our children accidentally left the front door open. She is a sweet short-haired calico - mostly dark gray with some orange and a little white. Her front paw is mostly orange, and she has green eyes. She is blind in her left eye, though you can really only tell because that pupil doesn't dilate like the other one. Her chin is half orange, half gray, almost as if someone drew a line right down the middle of it. She has been spayed and does not have her front claws. She does not have a collar on. She is so sweet, and we miss her terribly! ]]>

She went missing from new home in Hillsborough NC Mon morning, Feb 1st, in the old Flint Ridge section of Hillsborough, Murdock Road, off Cheshire and Oakdale, the area near Cornwallis Hills and route 86, have done everything possible to find her. She is probably hiding and getting food from dishes where people are feeding their outdoor cats. She may be in a wooded area near as she was a feral and is very shy. <![CDATA[My cat went missing 2/27/10 in the afternoon from our back yard. She is an old girl - 17years. She is a silver/black tabby with white chest and socks and she is spayed. She is DEAF so if you see her she will not come to your call. One distinct characteristic is that her L pupil is always larger than her R pupil. She also has a thyroid condition that reuqires medication twice a day which she has now been without for several days and is most likely getting dangerously thin. Our house is in the Moorefields Road /Stevens Meadow Lane area of Hillsborough and I can't imagine that she went very far. Please email if you have seen her. I am currently the only one in her household that has a job so this is crazy important to me. I stopped by the Subway off of Wake Forest Road next to the Hibachi and Albai (however you spell it) foodstore, Tuesday March 2nd, to get a sandwich and ate inside. I left my brown leather purse, which isn't worth much as I got it at the goodwill, when I left at 3:45pm. It has a key (on a pretty blue lanyard), compact, pocket knife, gum, and my wallet ( red snapping 6"x3.5" hard wallet that's red with pictures of Japanese women in kimonos on the outside) and I'm sure there are other crap stuffed down in it as well (side note: inside zipper pocket can't be used since the sides of said pocket have come undone). The purse (I couldn't tell you the maker) is kept close with magnets in the flap and the body of the purse. Please if you have seen this purse or hell even just my wallet please send me an email. I am working as a valet and desperately need to be able to go back to work (my driver's license was inside my wallet). My family can't afford for me to miss work.
