<![CDATA[I'm a 26 year old male. Non-smoker, non-drinker. Obsessively neat and clean. Very quiet and introverted, so I mostly keep to myself. I was forced to move out of my last place on very short notice due to an unforeseen termite problem, and so I am currently staying in an extended stay hotel while I search for a new place. The hotel rate (roughly $1000 per month) is nearly double what I can responsibly afford, so I need to find something more reasonable as quickly as possible. I would prefer to be able to move before this coming Tuesday in order to avoid paying for another week in rent here. Due to the unexpected expense of staying in a hotel, I'm really not able to afford the security deposit + last month's rent + application fee + admin fee and whatever else that many places require at the moment. I'm hoping to find someone who is willing to be a little flexible on that, and I'm more than willing to 1) pay a security deposit as I regain my pre-housing-crisis financial stability and 2) do whatever I can in the meantime to assure you that I have no intention of causing any damage to your property. Just to be clear, I'm employed and can easily make rent; it's just that my savings have kinda been drained, so I can't afford anything more than that at the moment. I'm looking for a studio or efficiency (preferably all inclusive) as close to downtown Raleigh as possible for somewhere in the $450 to $550 range. <![CDATA[ I have been without a place for just about a month now, hotel rooms are getting wayyy too pricy, and sleeping in my car just won't do. I'm a terribly happy, friendly, respectful, young caucasian male professional that holds his values high while being a very down-to-earth, untempered person. I clean/pick up after myself. I don't ask much of other's and expect little in return. I pay BEFORE deadlines, only missed ONE deadline (when I was first getting out there a couple years ago), and will assure you that you will not regret renting to me :) My cousin will be living with me also, and he's a pretty swell guy. He hasn't been living on his own for very long, however I've known him for a long LONG time and know his habits with money-which are impeccable. He doesn't spend money on much of anything, other than food, of course, and those bare necessities, and he's not a party animal either. I wouldn't live with him if he was anyways...So just to clarify-The house won't be trashed, let alone get dirty, and will probably be cleaner than when we moved in. I've lived with slobs before and hated the lifestyle of coming home with crap everywhere, it just wasn't inviting to anyone, let alone the people who lived there. The neighbors who will be near us (if any) definitely won't have anything bad to say seeing as how we're civil, conscious folk. I can say more, but I'm just giving you an idea of the kind of guy that will be living in your house. To summarize-Clean, honest, quiet, civil, and friendly. I won't just up and leave either, I've had it done to me, and know the repercussions of those kinds of actions. So none of that either. I have reliable transportation. I have no criminal background. I have little desire to party, but will have occasional guests and a drink or two. I have a reliable job. I have my head set right over my shoulders, and am far from being freaky. I live in San Francsco in my own home and need a place for me and my small (20 lb) Sheltie for around 3 months. I'm flexible on the time as I'm a retired teacher and can make my own schedule. My biggest concern is that there would be no stairs getting in and out of the apartment ( 2 or 3 stairs would be OK but no more than that) and that I could park close to the entry.
