Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assess and improve by streamlining the existing process of production support issue analysis and resolution. 2. Troubleshoot and triage issues in production environment by collaborating with the operations group (Tier-3, SOC). Need to be able to work and manage timings flexibly (issues might arise during any time of the day and week). 3. If it needs more attention from the engineering SMEs, understand the symptoms and details of an issue, and prioritize it for resolution taking into consideration factors like severity, business risk, and resolution complexity. Communicate the issue status to the involved parties and co-ordinate the issue resolution efforts from the Tier-4 team. 4. Attain the required domain knowledge very quickly; document and organize the knowledge and information acquired. Review and help modify TSG and monitors. 5. Train the Tier-3 team, with the above information for recurring issues that can be resolved at that level. 6. Collaborate with the engineering teams to help long term resolution by equipping them with results of investigative analysis, and statistics of production issues that require system changes.
