Most of the components are of the original Shimano 1050 group. The front derailleur was swapped out for a Suntour Mountech at some point. The shifters were recently upgraded to Shimano R500 STI shifters. The headset has been switched to an anodized red Chris King 2NUT. To match the red headset the wheels were replaced with anodized red Phil Wood hubs laced to DT Swiss's RR465 rim. The wheels were built using DT Swiss competition double butted spokes. Mounted to the wheels are Rivendell's 28mm Rolly Polly tires. All maintenance and upgrades were performed by a professional mechanic. The wheels were handbuilt as well by the same mechanic. It has been used very few times and is made of sturdy, waterproof black or green cotton duck with leather straps and reinforcement. The mounting is in the traditional Carradice way with a strap for each of the bag loops on the saddle and another strap to go around the seat post. I have used this bag for the saddle but it can be used on the handlebars too.
