The goal of the project is to create 'database-less' flexible publishing engine based on Gmail functionality.
There are tons of good email subscriptions out there. It would be possible to setup filters in Gmail, that each subscription will be automatically marked with its own tag. The script will be using specified tags as "topics" and will be publishing them online without human intervention ( + generating tags + creating keywords, and auto links). This script will be also useful without any subscription. It would be possible to setup gmail to mark all emails, that have the word "Work" in the subject with a tag- "Work". This way it would be a usual blog with email-based administration.
